The true worshipper

Recently heard someone say let's be in the mood of worship, after a little interaction I found out that worship means slow songs to some people and praise means fast songs. Wonder where that idea started from,  worship goes way beyond the songs we sing or our dancing step. It is a lifestyle, we must worship in truth and in spirit.  Being aware that we are nothing without Jesus should make us broken and thankful that we have been saved by the blood of the lamb. Being conscious of our righteousness which we have through Christ Jesus should make us live a blameless life through the holy Spirit. It is when your heart is truly filled with love for God, that you can worship him. It is when you know the lord that you can worship him. Expression of worship could be in different forms, it can be a smile, sudden outburst of joy, a radical dance, reckless abandon on the floor, a melody etc.  this year let's live a life of worship to God, let us worship him till his glory radiates over us and shines forth to the world, untill the knowledge of the glory of the lord takes over the earth.

Protection for children

 After carrying them in the womb for nine months, bringing them forth into this world. We often wish we can carry them and watch over them daily. But how do we pay our bills if we make this a norm. What of the phase when they have to start school. Irrespective of how much we love our children we cannot be with them for 24hours, they are either left with minders or at school. Do you know what happens to the child when you are away. No! So how best can you protect your child from harm and evil. Remember children are a heritage from God so he that gave them to you is ever able to protect them, however as a parent, elder sister or brother aunty and uncle you have an obligation to continually pray for them and put them under the shadow of the Almighty.  Hannah made a vow that if God gives her a child she the child to God all the days of his life. Did she keep her vow? Yes! How many parents can take that stand and say My child will be taught of The Lord, the Bible says we should declare Gods goodness to the next generation. Yet many of us don't obey this instruction. In a time when the Devil is out to get this little ones into his kingdom and so many child molesters abound. The place of prayer cannot be over emphasized. Please take time to pray for this young ones.        PRAYER POINT. I secure my child(mention the name) from every epidemic and accident both at home and outside the home. I decree that you shall be exempted from every visitation that will terminate your God ordained destiny in Jesus name. As you get exposed to every minder, teacher, extended family, people whose spiritual atmosphere is different from the atmosphere of the Holy Spirit. I secure you by from every evil transference and I put the mark of the Holy Spirit on you. There shall be no manipulation in your Spirit man and you shall not be a partaker of any covenant contrary to that of the living God. You shall be an arrow of God and you shall answer the enemy at the city gate.                                                                                                                                          HAVE A BLESSED WEEK

PITCH DARKNESS

All of a sudden the light was gone, NEPA had struck, everywhere was black, i mean pitch black, how i hated darkness. i knew my house so well, like the back of my hand. I stood up confidently heading towards the dining section where the rechargeable lantern was always. my foot caught something and i felt pain, i quickly stretched out my hands to feel the environment anew, with arms stretched out i began to imagine how the blind had to pass through this difficulty daily, how they miss a turn and often fall. then it hit me!the spiritually blind. how does a spiritually blind person get across the hurdle called life, the falls, the pain, the confusion, the darkness. in a world where only the spiritually alive man can move, how will a spiritually blind man survive? where the path clear , neither is the direction given, how they grope in darkness, blindly searching.
    On getting to the dining area and putting on the light the whole sitting room was illuminated. wooooow, how beautiful and pleasant to see, then i realized THE WORD IS LAMP UNTO MY FEET AND A LAMP UNTO MY PATH. The word of the lord, my guiding light, the refresher of my soul, the joy of the world.
 WHEN light comes darkness has no choice but to disappear there is no struggle or fight in this, it is so automatic the transforming power of the word. Without the word of God you will most certainly miss your way, you will grope in darkness, you will miss your step, stumble and fall, you will lose direction, your mobility will be slow and unsure. only his word can guide you, only his word can direct your path. take a minute to ask, AM I SPIRITUALLY BLIND? how much of the word do you know? how open is your heart to let God lead you?
